- Open the Monzo app on your iOS or Android mobile device.
- From the Home screen, tap the three dots (...) icon beneath your card.
- Select "Bank statements" from the menu options.
- Choose the statement period (select a specific calendar month or a custom date range).
- Select PDF as your export format to generate and save the official document.
Note: For active accounts, Monzo provides statement generation dating back to your account opening date. Note that statement downloads are managed through the mobile app. For closed accounts, Monzo emails a final transaction statement at closure; further copies must be requested by contacting help@monzo.com.

Active personal, joint, and business Monzo accounts can generate monthly or custom date range statement PDFs covering their entire history back to account opening.
Monzo’s raw app CSV export includes internal application tags, emojis, and notes that complicate accounting imports. Official monthly PDF statements provide the standardized, certified transaction format with opening and closing balance checkpoints required for tax returns and audits.
When an account closes, Monzo automatically emails a full statement history. If you need replacement copies after closure, you must email Monzo customer support at help@monzo.com, as in-app self-service is no longer accessible.
One clean sheet with the same column names and order as your statement (such as Date, Description, Withdrawals, Deposits, Balance), every transaction row, and amounts as real numbers so SUM, sorting, and filters work properly in Excel.
Statements of up to 5 pages are free once per email every 24 hours. Longer statements or subsequent small conversions require a one-time payment shown before download. You can inspect the first 10 rows in the free preview before paying.
